The Hanafi school counts a woman's gold jewellery towards zakat once it reaches the nisab of 85 g of gold. The Maliki, Shafi‘i and Hanbali schools exempt jewellery that is worn in a normal way. Both views have evidence; many people pay out of caution. Ask a scholar you trust about your own jewellery and use the zakat calculator to work out what you owe.
