Juz 29
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallIt leaveth naught; it spareth naught
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallIt shrivelleth the man.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAbove it are nineteen.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallWe have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling-block for those who disbelieve; that those to whom the Scripture hath been given may have certainty, and that believers may increase in faith; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt; and that those in whose hearts there is disease, and disbelievers, may say: What meaneth Allah by this similitude? Thus Allah sendeth astray whom He will, and whom He will He guideth. None knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save Him. This is naught else than a Reminder unto mortals.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNay, by the Moon
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd the night when it withdraweth
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd the dawn when it shineth forth,
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallLo! this is one of the greatest (portents)
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAs a warning unto men,

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallSo whosoever will may heed.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection;
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true).
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallThinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones?
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallYea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers!
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallBut man would fain deny what is before him.
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallHe asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection?
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallBut when sight is confounded
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd the moon is eclipsed
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd sun and moon are united,
Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallOn that day man will cry: Whither to flee!
