أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ﴿٢٥﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallBoth for the living and the dead,

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ﴿٢٧﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein?

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallWoe unto the repudiators on that day!

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿٣٠﴾

لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﴿٣١﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ﴿٣٢﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallLo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ﴿٣٣﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallWoe unto the repudiators on that day!

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallThis is a day wherein they speak not,

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallNor are they suffered to put forth excuses.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallWoe unto the repudiators on that day!

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallThis is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ ﴿٣٩﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallIf now ye have any wit, outwit Me.

Now playing ·
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallWoe unto the repudiators on that day!

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٤١﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallLo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,

42
Now playing ·
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallAnd fruits such as they desire.

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿٤٤﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallThus do We reward the good.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٤٦﴾

Mohammed Marmaduke William PickthallEat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.
